Today we head south through
the arid landscape of Don

to Cordoba. The architectural
monuments of this beautiful city
were built by the Romans, the
Moors and early Christians. We
visit the 8th-century Mosque of
the Caliphs, famous for its 850
pillars of porphyry, marble and
jasper. On leaving Cordoba, we
continue along the fertile valley of
the river Guadalquivir to Seville,
our home for the next two nights.
The evening is at leisure, but it is
hard to resist a night filled with
the sights and sound of guitars,
castanets, whirling skirts and
of course the famous flamenco! Breakfast and Dinner Included |

a visit to the famed Alhambra:
to pass through its gates is to
enter an Arabian Night’s dream!
A fantasy of “lace in stone,” surrounded by arabesque gardens
and fountains, the Alhambra
offers incredible views of the
Old Quarter and Sacromonte, a
mountain occupied by Gypsy cave
dwellers. We also enjoy a walk
through the Water Gardens of the
Generalife. Breakfast and Dinner Included |
| DAY 9 Granada -Toledo - Madrid |

than any other town in Spain.

Santo Tome, home to one of El
Greco’s most famous paintings. After time free for shopping for
